Valpolicella wine

Valpolicella is very popular red wine. It ranks second after Chianti in total Italian DOC wine production. Typically Valpolicella is made from three grape varietals: Corvina Veronese (40-70%), Rondinella (20-40%), and Molinara (5-20%).

Valpolicella is Veneto wine produced in the foothills of the Alps, just west of the city of Verona, east of Lake Garda.

Valpolicella is usually not very tannic with a touch of acidity, and with fruity aroma.
